Chakukuli Fried Indian snack

Chakuli

Prepartion Time: 1 hour makes about 30 pieces

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Urad Daal
  • 4 cup Rice Flour
  • 1 cup Fried gram powder
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Jeera
  • 2 tsp Salt
Instructions:
  • Dry roast Urad daal for few minutes in low flame
  • Cook Urad daal in a pressure cooker
  • Mix Fried gram, Riceflour and cookded Ural daal together.
  • Add salt, jeera and chilli powder to the mixture
  • Heat Butter and add hot butter into mixture
  • Add water and mix everything well to soft dough consistency.
  • Make chakuli using chakuli press.
  • Deep fry them in oil until they are light brown.
Tips:
  • While frying use medium flame. If you fry in high flame it will become dark soon and will not cook in the inside.
