Chakuli
Prepartion Time: 1 hour makes about 30 pieces
Ingredients
- 1 cup Urad Daal
- 4 cup Rice Flour
- 1 cup Fried gram powder
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 Tbsp Jeera
- 2 tsp Salt
Instructions:
- Dry roast Urad daal for few minutes in low flame
- Cook Urad daal in a pressure cooker
- Mix Fried gram, Riceflour and cookded Ural daal together.
- Add salt, jeera and chilli powder to the mixture
- Heat Butter and add hot butter into mixture
- Add water and mix everything well to soft dough consistency.
- Make chakuli using chakuli press.
- Deep fry them in oil until they are light brown.
Tips:
- While frying use medium flame. If you fry in high flame it will become dark soon and will not cook in the inside.
